Ange’s words : Omgosh i can not recommend Daphne enough what an amazing experience. Daphne is absolutely amazing at what she does and so down to earth and chilled which really helps build up your confidence. It took me so long to feel like this was something I could do as I have never felt confident about my body my whole life and have always hated the way I looked when I look in the mirror but my amazing husband has been able to slowly draw me out of my shell and become more confident in myself. To say I am so proud that I decide to do it is such an understatement and that i decided i would just go with the flow. I definitely left my comfort zone but I'm so damn happy I did.
The photos are amazing and I love that u can see the love between us in these photos. I have known my husband since I was 10yrs old and we have been together for over 15yrs so to find someone who was able to really capture the way we feel about each other is just beyond words I can not say thank you enough for how amazing our day was and how amazing I felt. By the end of the shoot my confidence was through the roof and I walked away feeling like a queen.
My words: HOLY FUCK (insert crying happy face!) what amazing and heart bursting words from my girlie Ange! I loved that we have become friends during the process of booking and planning the shoot, to after the shoot! Her husband Nick bumped into me at my kids school and said “are you Daphne from Daphne Sky Studios?” and my little heart was like omfg I AM FAMOUS! whilst saying yesssss!!! He says “my wife and I follow you and can’t wait to do a shoot with you one day!”
First of all, I live in Jimboomba, tiny little hick town (getting more popular) so getting recognised felt like the coolest fucking thing ever, and right after that we had been messaging on IG, and the rest is history.
Let’s just say they are cool as cats, and their love is fucking intense, yummy and hilarious. They constantly joke with each other, and even after all the years they have been together they are so in love and hot for one another. It’s goals baby. Goals.
This shoot was so much fun, we did it on Ange’s birthday, and we had the best time getting all ready at my studio (@veeutifulmakeup) and then we went to Beaudesert at my friends property (@vue _homestead) as this is my new couples shoot location! It was dead of winter in this shoot. and these two just went fucking ham, braved it, and went wild. Cows joined in, I got a musication on country music, the sunset aligned last minute, and the campfire was the climax ;) Save this shoot for inspo - get your lover and just get onto this!!!
